About these terms

These terms apply to your use of SecurityCamera.deals, a website published by Blackcedar Media Limited, Weidenweg 12, 74321 Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the site does

SecurityCamera.deals helps you plan a security camera system. You describe your property and what you want from it; we suggest cameras, a recorder, storage and network equipment, and we show products that are on sale through Amazon. We do not sell products ourselves, we do not hold stock and we are not a party to any purchase you make. Every purchase is a contract between you and the retailer.

Recommendations, Security Fit and Deal Score

Security Fit is our assessment of how well a camera or system matches the property and requirements you describe. It is calculated from product specifications published by manufacturers and from your answers. Deal Score is our assessment of how the current price compares with the recent price history we have recorded for that product. Both are opinions produced by our methods, not guarantees.

A recommendation cannot account for everything about a real building. Before you buy, check that the cameras suit your mounting points, cable routes, Wi-Fi signal, power supply and local laws on recording people and public areas. Where we say we have not verified something, such as compatibility between a particular camera and recorder, treat it as unverified.

Prices and availability

Prices and availability come from Amazon and change often. Each price is shown with the time it was last checked. A price older than 24 hours is withdrawn and replaced with a link to check the current price on Amazon. The price charged is always the one shown on Amazon at the time of purchase, and that price takes precedence over anything shown here.

Subscriptions and running costs

Monthly costs and the features available without a plan are taken from each manufacturer's published plan pages and dated when checked. Manufacturers change plans without notice, so confirm the current terms with the manufacturer before relying on them.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for your own personal or business research. You may not copy the site's data in bulk, run automated tools that place excessive load on it, attempt to access areas that require a password you have not been given, or use the site in any way that breaks the law.

Intellectual property

The text, scoring methods, tools, illustrations and design of the site belong to Blackcedar Media Limited. Product names, logos and images belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products.
